You can also purchase extra speed temporarily: the BT mobile extra speed 4G add-on allows you to double the maximum speed of your mobile data without switching plans.

- Select the mobile you wish to order a BT mobile data add on
- Select add ons
- Select the add-on you wish to add
- Proceed to checkout.
BT TV add-ons: upgrade your TV package.
BT TV offers BT TV add-ons to subscribers on different plans who want access to more stations without changing their contracts. These add-ons last for a month and will not renew at the end of the month.

It is important to note that since all of these add-ons are video on demand only, you won't get any additional channels, but there are many more things to watch on the BT Player.
BT add-ons for roaming
When travelling within the EU, BT roam-like home service allows you to use your UK calls, data and text within forty-seven countries without extra roaming charges. However, when travelling outside these forty-seven countries, you can use the BT roaming add-on (travel pass) to keep costs down.
At £6 daily, you get 500MB roaming in the following countries:

How to order BT roaming add on
You can order a travel data pass to your account online at anytime. However, you can also order your roaming add-on by sending an SMS.
When you begin using data in a country covered by BT add-ons, BT will SMS you to let you know. To purchase the add-on, text back 500 and they'll text you back once it has been added to your account. Although it normally only takes ten minutes, this process can take up to thirty.
BT add-ons for international calls.
Customers of BT calling plans have access to the comprehensive international calls add-on option, International Freedom. You can make calls to fixed lines in 36 foreign countries (as well as to mobiles in five of these countries) for a monthly charge of £9.82. (subject to a fair usage policy).
In addition, International Freedom provides affordable travel to 199 additional international locations.
