Gigaclear Broadband Speeds
Gigaclear is much faster than most competitors, offering FTTP connection, with speeds ranging from 30Mb to 900Mb. Gigaclear’s fibre cables run directly into your home, meaning you get more connected service.
This super connected fibre broadband gives you a big speed boost. You could download a three-hour HD film in under a minute, which is vastly different to what you get on standard speed broadband… it could take nearly 2 hours to do the exact same thing!

Gigaclear Coverage
Gigaclear are a rural broadband provider. The service currently covers around 65,000 premises across a dozen counties, with funding to expand across other parts of the UK in future. Their target is to be available to more than 300,000 homes by the end of 2021. Although it has limited coverage, it has excellent speeds as a fibre to the home service.
If you want to find out if Gigaclear is available in your village, you can visit their website and use the postcode checker. If it isn't you can register your interest via the Gigaclear website. However, for the service to be considered for installation in your area it will need significant interest from the rest of your community, and you'll need to be within 3km of existing fibre infrastructure or another village that already has access to Gigaclear.
User reviews
General consensus is that Gigaclear provide very fast broadband to rural areas that would otherwise be without broadband. However, some say that the customer service is inadequate and outages are common.

- Hyperfast 900 with Smart WiFi - the fastest Gigaclear package offers an unlimited service, with upload and download speeds averaging 900Mb. £79.00 per month (£30.00 upfront). 18-month contract. You get Smart WiFi with an additional WiFi node, and a free wireless router.
