Onestream broadband reviews
Onestream have a good rating of 3.78 on Trustpilot. Customers highlight the web chat option as a strong point for Onestream. Concerns about the stability of the internet connection pop up every once in a while, but overall consumers seem to be happy with their service.
Onestream Coverage
You can check if Onestream has coverage in your area using their coverage app on their website. They use the same Openreach telephone network so if you can get a BT phone line you can probably get broadband from Onestream.
Onestream Contract periods
Onestream tends to offer longer contract lengths than other providers. The minimum contract period is 18 months, and the majority of their deals are 24 month long contracts. This is useful to people who don’t want to deal with the hassle of searching for a new provider or renewing a contract. However, it lacks flexibility in that you will face charges if you move house and want to bring your Onestream broadband with you.
Onestream is one of a number of smaller companies hoping to lure customers away from the ‘major four’ providers BT, Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk. From our overview, they might achieve just that as they expand and gain popularity.
Onestream for Business
Onestream’s parent company is Onecom, who are a major business broadband provider. Onecom offer a wide range of business connectivity solutions, such as business mobile phones, broadband for business, cloud solutions and business phone lines. They ask potential customers to schedule a phone appointment on their website for more information on pricing.
How can I contact Openstream?
You can call Openstream on 0333 241 4449, or live chat with a customer service agent on their live web chat function on their website.
Onestream is definitely among the cheapest providers on the market and offers a couple of deals you won't find anywhere else.
The 17Mb Jetstream Fibre service, which offers a slightly quicker speed than ADSL for a similar price - is a unique proposition. But if your phone line is capable of better speeds then take a look at Jetstream Fibre Max, which is near twice as fast for just a couple of pounds more.
Even if you opt for the fastest Onestream deal you're still going to end up paying less than some providers charge for much slower broadband packages… a good deal all round!
However, we do have some concerns about Onestream's poor reputation among customers, with lots of complaints online about customer service and reliability.
