Community Fiubre coverage map currently shows that they currently serve about 435,000 homes in London. This post will discuss where these services are available, future rollout plans and how to check its availability. We will also talk about how to request your interest.

Coverage map of Community Fibre: where is it available

Community Fibre’s broadband services are based mainly in London.

They serve several large cities, including Greater London, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, and Forest Gate. Community fibre also serves smaller cities like Bredhurst, Arlingham, Wrotham, and Little Burstead. These locations enjoy very decent internet speeds due to the end-to-end network connectivity.

But that is not all the places they cover. They’re constantly working on making their Fibre-to-the-Premises services available in new locations.

So, if you want to know if they’re available in your location, you can type your postcode into the community fibre postcode availability checker. You can also use the coverage map to see if there’s a point on your postcode indicating that your address can obtain full fibre service.

Future coverage map on Community Fibre: rollout plans

Community Fibre currently provides end-to-end full-fibre broadband services to 435,000 homes in London.

However, their new rollout plans intend to extend that coverage map to over half of the 3.7 million homes in London. They intend to serve 2.2 million homes by the end of 2024.

Although it sounds like a lot, the rollout plans will have minimal disruption effects on daily activities because they intend to put the fibre networks through existing ducts under London’s streets and pavements rather than digging trenches like other internet service providers.

These efforts will see them triple their rollout plans over the last year to become London's leading full fibre network provider. As an added benefit to the community, the rollout plans will see them employ 300 new employees and the thousands already employed.

These rollout plans coincide with the current research from the government’s office stating that fast broadband should be considered an essential utility, like water and electricity. As such, they have set this new target to match the high expectations to provide ultra-fast internet connectivity to virtually every home and business in the London and UK area.

Check if Community Fibre’s coverage is available in your area

The rollout plans are ongoing, so some areas previously without Community Fibre’s fibre coverage are now covered. However, the efforts haven’t reached some other places.

The postcode checker on their official website can check if community fibre is in your area. This postcode checker can also be used for business addresses covered by the broadband service.

You can also use the coverage map available on the community fibre official website for a more visual representation.

Request broadband coverage to Community Fibre

In situations where the services are not yet available in your area, you can request community fibre services by reaching out to them.

For instance, if you’re interested in a community fibre business broadband service, you can reach out to them on 08081966056 on Mondays to Fridays between 9 AM to 5 PM. You can also complete a quick request form that’ll take just about a minute online.

On the other hand, if the services are available in your preferred location, you can get opt-in online by selecting your preferred broadband deals and packages. Once you select a base broadband package, you can bundle other TV, calls, or Wi-Fi in every room package with the base package.

It’s almost like picking up groceries at the store.

Once satisfied with your picks, you need to set up an installation date. The engineers from community fibre will come to your location on the agreed date, and you’ll be up and running in about two hours.

That’s not all.

If your region is not currently served by community fibre but is to be covered very soon according to their rollout plans, you can request that your premises be included when they reach your location. This will make you eligible for certain discount offers when the services reach your region in the coming period.
