Gigaclear Broadband deals
Activation is usually £30, standard installation is free but 5% of customers liable for professional installation costs subject to no obligation survey.
Currently, there are four fibre packages available with speeds of 30Mbps, 100Mbps, 300Mbps and an extremely fast 900Mbps. In addition, if you would like to increase speeds and flexibility within your home it is possible to add nodes through extensions which increase coverage and performance.
The main difference between the four fibre broadband options is the speeds they offer and the addition of Smart WiFi on the two fastest tiers.

- Ultrafast 100 - unlimited fibre broadband with download and upload speeds averaging at 100Mb

Superfast 30 is the entry level package. Due to the fact that this is a fibre-to-the-home service the performance is consistent, and the upload speed is very fast. This will handle streaming, gaming and downloading for all the family.

Ultrafast 100 is comparable with ultrafast products from the other providers who are able to offer these speeds and will handle anything you can throw at it.

Then there's the Hyperfast 900 with Smart WiFi. This has amazing upload and download speeds of 900Mb and is even faster than most providers in urban areas. It is very efficient if you have specific requirements such as working from home and sharing large files or having meetings.

- More expensive than rivals - although the service is likely to be faster than its rivals, it's also likely to be more expensive
- No short contracts - the minimum contract is 18 months on all packages, with one month's notice when you leave
