You may combine your Sky Landline package with other Sky services to save money and make things more convenient. Sky's deals are always changing and refreshing, so it's important to check back frequently for the most recent offerings.

Sky Talk Anytime Extra

Usage: Free UK landline calls anytime, including 0870 and 0845 numbers.

Now offers free calls to UK mobiles at any time.

Sky Broadband Essential is included as standard (upgrade to Fibre if required)

Monthly cost: £12.00 per month combined with one of Sky Bundles or Sky Broadband offerings.

Sky Talk International Extra

Usage: Calls to UK landlines are free at any time, including 0870 and 0845 numbers. Unlimited calls to 50 foreign destinations, as well as unlimited calls to mobile phones in Hong Kong, the United States, and Canada. Click the map to enlarge it and see all of the destinations included.

Sky Pay As You Talk

Usage: If you are a light phone user and do not want to acquire a Sky landline plan with your Broadband connection, you can just pay for the calls you make with this regular talk service.

The monthly line rental is £18.99.

Sky Mobile

Sky has announced the introduction of a new mobile phone network. The distinction is one of flexibility. Sky users can alter their pricing monthly, create Sky+ playlists, and save £10.00 per month on call plans.

Call plans start at £6.00 per month.


Sky landline not working: how to report a fault.

Don't panic if your Sky landline stops operating and you're unsure what's causing it. Aside from the fact that you are not alone in your predicament, the solution is simple.

Check the status of your service if your Sky landline isn't working. Remove all devices and appliances that cause interference.

Then, check the colour of the "voice" light on your hub and make sure the phone is properly plugged in. If the voice light on your hub is switched off or amber, restart and reset it.

If all fails, call Sky at 0333 7591 018 to get help or report a problem. On the Sky website, you can also check the status of your account or verify your service status.


Are there extra charges for Sky landline?

There are no extra charges for Sky landline; all you need to do is buy your preferred tariff plan.

Sky landline customers can make free calls to Sky landline contact centres. Calls to 03 numbers cost the same as calls to 01 or 02 numbers and are included in your call package if you are not with Sky landline. Charges may apply and vary by provider.

Calls to 084, 087, 09, and 118 numbers are examples of service numbers. All calls to freephone numbers (beginning 0500, 0800, 08000, 0808, or 116) are free from mobile phones and landlines.

  • Advantage Max - The most advanced of the three plans and suitable for firms looking to expand. Each 'Advantage Pro' feature is present, as is a connection of up to four digital phone lines with VoiceEdge.

Is there a landline-only option?

No, Sky has no landline only option.

Do I need a landline to get Sky?

Yes, some Sky internet plans that are fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) require a landline, but you are not required to bundle a home phone call plan if you do not require one. Full fibre (FTTH) does not require a landline, but if you need to make calls, you may add a Sky Talk VoIP service.
