Plusnet reward card: how to get it, claim or spend your card
A Plusnet Reward Card gives you access to special rewards, cash backs, and other leverages when you order a Plusnet reward deal. This article looks at how you can get these reward cards, as well as how you can activate them and make use of them.
What is a Plusnet reward card?
A Plusnet Reward Card is a prepaid Mastercard that allows you to receive price reductions based on your spending. You can use a Plusnet reward card on Amazon UK and other online retailers, as well as in most high-street stores that display the Mastercard symbol. The Plusnet reward card does have some restrictions, as you cannot use it for the following:
- Withdrawing money from a cash machine
- Any Customer Activated Terminals (including but not limited to pay@pump, toll roads, car parks, or train ticket terminals)
- Subscriptions or automatic monthly payments
- Foreign exchange offices
- Gambling
How to get a Plusnet reward card
There is no Reward Card currently being offered by Plusnet as they have stopped offering the Reward Card since September 27th, 2022. However, you only get a Plusnet reward card if you sign up for any of their rewards deals when available.
Activate and claim your Plusnet reward card
When you've signed up, an email will be delivered to the email address you provided during registration. You should receive the email within ten days of your service's activation.
Steps to take:
- Click the link in the email to access it (it's valid for two months from when it was sent).
- Click "submit" after entering your information in the form.
- A confirmation screen stating that your Plusnet Reward is on its way will appear after that.
Your reward card should arrive 30 days after receiving confirmation. Plusnet Reward cards are mailed to the address listed on your account as prepaid cards.
Once your card arrives, you'll need to activate your card to be able to use it. You will receive an email from the Plusnet Purecard website providing information on activating your reward card online. Your Reward Card will not be usable until it is activated online. Once you've completed the activation process, you'll be able to see your PIN.
How to use your Plusnet reward cards
You can use your Plusnet reward card on Amazon UK and other online retailers, as well as in most high-street stores or where Mastercards are accepted.
You must know the amount available in your balance before you make purchases. You will be given your remaining balance if you call the Plusnet rewards team at 0800 587 1995. However, you are responsible for ensuring that funds are available on the card to make purchases.
