Plusnet Roaming 2021
Brexit has caused a lot of confusion with regards to roaming in the EU and the UK since it came into effect. We delve into the impact of Brexit on roaming if you are a Plusnet customer.
What happens with Plusnet Roaming after Brexit?Plusnet state that they do not have any plans to change the current packages/tariffs including the roam like at home feature.
Plusnet's roaming is called 'Roam Like at Home' and it allows you to use your mobile plan allowance to make and receive calls, send texts and use data when you're roaming in any of our Roam Like at Home destinations, rather than paying roaming charges. Plusnet customers enjoy inclusive roaming in Europe, and we don't have any plans to change this based on the Brexit outcome.

Roaming charges
You will only face roaming charges if you go above your allowance according to your regular plan. You can put a Smart Cap on your monthly bill, so you'll never have to worry about extra charges building up. To configure your smart cap, go to your Plusnet account online and change it from anywhere between £0.00 and £30.00. It can take 24 hours for this to update. Plusnet sends an email and a text when you've used 80% and 100% of your bundle allowances.
When you hit your Smart Cap, all chargeable services will be suspended until your next bill, you'll still be able to use your remaining inclusive minutes, text messages and data allowance.
If you want to carry on using chargeable services, you can make a payment to reduce your outstanding balance or increase the Smart Cap.
