What is EE Family Plan?

EE family plan is a bundle of data, minutes, texts and mobile internet that you can use with up to five family members. It's an alternative to individual contracts or SIM-only plans.

A family plan is good if your household has several mobile users. Being on the one bill makes it much easier to track your spending, especially for busy families.

You will be upgraded to the EE family account when you add an extra line to your EE account. You get up to 20% off every new line for each line you add. You will also get a 10% discount monthly EE broadband bill. Other benefits of the EE family account include data gifting, EE PhoneSmart and several other smart benefits.

How to set up a EE Family plan

To set up your EE Family account, you only need to add a new plan to your current EE pay monthly account. To add a new plan to your account:

Purchase a gadget or service online.

Utilising your EE phone, dial 150.

Visit an EE store.

To access My EE, use the My EE app.

Each member of the EE family plan will be allocated their data allocation, but that allocation is flexible because data sharing allows you to transfer data freely from one member to the other. Therefore, you can level them out if someone on the account has excess data while another person is running low. Doing this ensures that no data is lost on the EE family account and that nobody runs out of data before the month is over.

Open the My EE app, then select "Manage Family" to enable data sharing on the EE family account. The amount of data each user on the account has used and remains will be displayed here. With this, you can use the Manage Family panel to choose who gets data, who gives it to them, and how much data they get. Once you have hit "Gift Data" to confirm your desire to deliver the data, you are finished.

The data's sender and the recipient will instantly get a text message informing them of the situation.
