For a monthly premium charged based on the price of your device, EE can offer you a full cover or damage cover, whichever works best for you.

With Full Cover, you can rest knowing that if your device is broken, stolen, or lost, you could acquire a refurbished replacement the following day. And if the full cover doesn’t work for you. Damage Cover provides insurance against both breakdown and unintentional damage.

EE will not replace your mobile phone or connected device if:

  • you or an authorised user purposefully leave your mobile phone or connected device where others may see it but you cannot,
  • you fail to file a report or get a criminal reference number with the police (local police if you are overseas) after the theft;
  • you or an authorised user purposefully leaves it on display in an unattended vehicle (for instance, in a dashboard holder);
  • you or an authorized User leave it in an empty building with the doors left unlocked and the windows left open.

How much does EE insurance cost?

The price you pay to insure your EE device depends on the cost of the device you purchase from the EE store. Simply select your preferred policy from "Choose your Extras" in your basket to add device insurance and protection from EE. Aftering choosing your preferred insurance cover, you will see the insurance monthly premium cost added to the cost of your device.

At the time of writing, EE insurance starts at £2.40 monthly for lower tiered phones, and cost up to £9.49 for iPhones. They may cost more or less depending on the device and type of insurance you purchase, and new rates adjusted every year.

EE insurance for your phone

It can be a nightmare to be without your phone, for days on end. Get EE Full Cover insurance to stay connected and avoid being cut off. With Full Cover, you can unwind knowing that if your device is broken, stolen, or lost, you can acquire a refurbished replacement the following day.
